About A Benjamin Srivastava, MD
Dr. Srivastava is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry in the Division of Substance Use Disorders at Columbia University Medical Center. He received his M.D. from the University of Florida College of Medicine, completed his residency in general psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine, and clinical fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry/T32 Research fellowship in Substance Use Disorders at Columbia University/NYSPI. His current research interests include using advanced functional imaging techniques to investigate mechanisms of changes protracted abstinence and cognitive control involved in relapse and recovery in alcohol use disorder. He was awarded an NIH K23 Career Development Award in 2024.
