About Alexandra Antosy, PHD

Alexandra Antosy, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Medical Psychology jointly appointed in the departments of Pediatrics and Psychiatry. Dr. Antosy specializes in pediatric psychology and sees children, adolescents, and young adult patients within the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition and the Division of Pediatric Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology. Dr. Antosy uses evidenced-based treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to address emotional and behavioral aspects of living with chronic medical conditions. Her research interests focus on increasing access to psychological services and improving quality of life for patients with chronic medical conditions.


Dr. Antosy graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in psychology with honors and went on to earn her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Palo Alto University. She completed her clinical psychology internship at Geisinger Medical Center and her post-doctoral fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center in the Division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplantation.
