About Allison Spatz, MD
Dr. Allison Spatz is board certified in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. She is a Clinical Instructor at Weill Cornell Medical College and an Attending Cardiologist at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Spatz has been in private practice at New York Cardiology Associates since 2003.Dr. Spatz specializes in preventative cardiology, consultative cardiology, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.Dr. Spatz graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Lehigh University. She received her medical degree from the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. She completed an internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical College.Dr. Spatz spent three years as the Director of the Coronary Care Unit at North Shore University Hospital. She has been active in the American Heart Association as a speaker on the women’s cardiac health “Go Red” campaign.
