About Andy Liu, MD

Dr. Andy Liu completed his medical school and internal medicine residency at Western University in London, Ontario before finishing his gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Calgary, where he served as chief gastroenterology fellow. He then completed a one-year advanced fellowship program subspecializing in GI motility at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Upon graduation, he joined the Division of Digestive and Liver Diseases at Columbia University Medical Center, where he specializes full-time in managing patients with motility disorders, including difficulty swallowing, GERD, gastroparesis, chronic constipation, chronic diarrhea, fecal incontinence, and IBS and other disor...
