About Ashley Rainford, PhD

Ashley Rainford, PhD is a licensed Clinical Psychologist currently providing psychotherapy at the Women's Mental Health program in the Ob/Gyn department at Columbia University Medical Center. She specializes in perinatal and women's mental health, including reproductive mental health, with a trauma-informed, integrative (i.e. behavioral and psychodynamic) approach. In addition to her clinical role, her research interests include intergenerational transmission of adversity and psychobiological factors, race/ethnicity and attachment within Dr. Catherine Monk's Perinatal Pathways Lab.
