About Caitlin Snow, MD

Dr. Caitlin Snow graduated from Wesleyan University with a BA in English, and completed her medical training at Weill Cornell Medicine. As a medical student she was a Medical Student Training in Aging Research Scholar and a Geriatric Mental Health Foundation (GMHF) Scholar, and was awarded The Oskar Diethelm Prize for Excellence in Psychiatry and The Henry Adelman Memorial Award for Excellence in Geriatric Medicine.  She completed her residency in General Psychiatry at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine (NYPH-WCM). As a resident, Dr. Snow was a GMHF Honors Scholar as well as an American Association of Directors of Psychiatric Residency Training George Ginsberg MD Fellow, and received the NYPH-WCM Alumni Council’s Distinguished Housestaff Award and the Payne Whitney Faculty Council Award for Excellence in Teaching. She was a member of various hospital-wide committees including the Resident Forum, Housestaff Quality Council, Residency Education Committee, and Chief Resident Forum. In her final year, she served as co-chief resident. Following residency, Dr. Snow completed her fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Institute of Geriatric Psychiatry. She is currently an Executive Master of Business Administration candidate at Columbia University.Dr. Snow’s academic interests include medical student and resident education, palliative care, caregiver burden, and integration of mental health into primary care settings.  She is involved with medical student and psychiatry resident education, teaching to various levels of trainees and participating in curriculum planning.
