About Dana Malajian, MD

Dr. Malajian grew up in New Jersey and graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College. She earned her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, where she was awarded the F. Lowenfish prize for research in Dermatology. Following medical school, Dr. Malajian completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, followed by Dermatology Residency at Columbia/New York Presbyterian, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year. She then completed a fellowship in Contact Dermatitis at Columbia University with Dr. Donald Belsito.


Dr. Malajian has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications on inflammatory skin diseases and has presented original research at international, national and local scientific meetings. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), as well as a member of the American Contact Dermatitis Society (ACDS) and Women's Dermatologic Society (WDS). Dr. Malajian specializes in extended patch testing for contact allergies in addition to providing compassionate and evidence-based care for patients with a wide range of dermatologic conditions.
