About Danny McCarthy, D.O.
Danny McCarthy, DO is a radiologist specializing in Diagnostic Radiology with clinical expertise in emergency and trauma radiology. He is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Campus.
Dr. McCarthy received his B.A. in Economics from New York University in 1989 and a D.O. from New York College of Osteopathic in 1997. He completed an internship at Long Beach Medical Center followed by a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Saint-Luke's Roosevelt Hospital in 2002. He then completed his fellowship from 2002 to 2003 at University Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey.
After 22 years in subsequent clinical practice, Dr. McCarthy joined the faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine in January 2025 as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology.
