About David W. Buchholz, MD
Dr. David Buchholz is a general pediatrician and the senior founding medical director for primary care at Columbia. Dr. Buchholz received his medical degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago and completed internship and residency at the University of Washington and Seattle Children's Hospital. Since graduating from residency, he has worked as a general pediatrician, medical administrator, and faculty member at Pacific Medical Centers, Swedish Health System, and the University of California, San Francisco. He joined the faculty of Columbia University Irving Medical Center in September of 2019 where he serves as the physician lead over the expansion of primary care for Columbia and NewYork-Presbyterian.
