Debbie G. Dr. Bakes is a member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, and the Hellenic Medical Society of New York. Dr. Bakes earned her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Stamford Hospital and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and went on to complete her fellowship at the University of Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital. She also received additional training in robotics and advanced life support.
