About Duncan K. Hau, M.D.
Duncan Hau, MD is a board-certified pediatrician and associate professor of clinical pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine. His clinical care focus is on hospital medicine. He received his B.S. from Cornell University and his M.D. from Tufts University School for Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. After residency, he spent two years living in Mwanza, Tanzania working for the Baylor International Pediatric AIDS Initiative (https://bipai.org/) scaling-up pediatric care in Tanzania.
Dr. Hau is actively involved in global health research focused on reducing child mortality in low-income countries, and in global health education with Cornell University undergraduates in Ithaca, NY, and medical students and pediatric residents in NYC.
