About Ellen M Sandoval, MD

Ellen grew up in Queens, New York, received my BA at Barnard College, MA at The Institute of Human Nutrition at Columbia P&S, and MD at the University of Miami School of Medicine. I returned to New York for my Pediatric Residency at Schneider Children's Hospital at LIJMC. I became a Pediatrician and learned to love grits down in rural Arkansas, then back to NY to spend five years at a local Hudson Valley Health center where I met Larry Baskind and Mary Ellen Stavitz. I have continued to work with them over the past 15 years (minus a sabbatical to enjoy the teenage years with my two lovely daughters), and I am honored to join them and the rest of the awesome staff down in Croton, providing for children and their families. I enjoy everything else life has to offer with my family and black lab, Violet.

In our pediatric practices, we advocate for children to receive the recommended vaccinations as per the schedules provided by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Vaccines are a safe and effective means of preventing diseases and health complications in children and young adults.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding vaccinations, we are available to discuss them during your child's next visit.
