During this time, she became interested in research, working on the development of hydrogels as potential wound healing materials.Dr. Polar earned her medical degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. She then joined the Division of Hematology/Oncology at Weill Cornell Medicine where she was involved in the management of clinical trials. Dr. Polar currently practices at ColumbiaDoctors in White Plains, NY and is affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital.
