About Evan Kennedy, SLP

Evan Kennedy, CCC-SLP currently serves as an Associate in Clinical Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Columbia University Medical Center. He is a Speech-Language Pathologist and Voice Specialist at the Voice and Swallowing Institute. Mr. Kennedy specializes in the evaluation and treatment of voice disorders across the lifespan. His clinical and research interests lie in the areas of gender-diverse voice and communication, professional voice rehabilitation, and paradoxical vocal fold motion disorder. He actively participates in clinical research initiatives, and has presented at national meetings on the topics of gender-diverse communication services and comprehensive voice evaluations.


Mr. Kennedy holds a Bachelors of Psychology from the University of Toronto and a Masters of Applied Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from McGill University. He completed his clinical fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Health Voice and Swallowing Clinics, and holds Certificates of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), as well as Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC).
