Dr. Noch completed his undergraduate studies at New York University, where he obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Neural Science. He then went on to complete his MD and PhD degrees at Temple University School of Medicine, where he studied the role of viral and cellular oncogenes in the regulation of oxygen and glucose metabolism in malignant brain tumors. He served as Chief Resident for Research during his third year of residency and Chief Resident for Research and Education during his fourth year. He then completed his fellowship in Neuro-oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center before transitioning back to Weill Cornell Medicine as an Instructor in the Department of Neurology. During residency and fellowship, Dr. Noch has also been performing his post-doctoral studies in the laboratory of Dr. Lewis Cantley at the Sandra and Edward Meyer Cancer Center at Weill Cornell Medicine, where he has been using novel strategies to combine targeted therapy with dietary interventions to improve treatment of glioblastoma.
