Faisal Shaikh, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and the Thoracic Surgery Section. He is the director of the newly founded Interventional Pulmonology Program at Columbia. This is a unique division that collaborates with thoracic surgery, pulmonary medicine, oncology and several other subspecialties in clinical care and research. Interventional pulmonology is at the forefront of performing state-of-the-art, minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic thoracic endoscopy.
