About Feliks Koyfman, MD
Feliks Koyfman, MD is a Neurologist with a sub-specialty in vascular neurology. He is the director of stroke services at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens and an assistant professor of clinical neurology at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Koyfman has been in practice for more than 10 years and has clinical expertise in treating acute ischemic strokes, intracranial hemorrhages and subarachnoid hemorrhages, as well as stroke prevention. He also treats patients with dementia. Dr. Koyfman earned his medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine and completed his neurology residency at Boston University Medical Center. He went on to complete his fellowship in vascular neurology and advanced vascular neurology and imaging at Boston University Medical Center. Dr. Koyfman is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Heart Association, and the Stroke Council. He has presented his work at multiple conferences and grand rounds for healthcare providers and community members on topics such as acute ischemic stroke care, acute stroke imaging, stroke prevention, treatment of intracranial hemorrhage, venous sinus thrombosis, and treatment of carotid stenosis. He is fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian.
