About Francis Bauldrick-Hernandez, MD

Francis Bauldrick-Hernandez, MD, is an assistant professor of Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College, Cornell University, and an Attending Surgeon at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. She is a board certified surgeon who specialized in liver, kidney and pancreas transplantation, laparoscopic donor nephrectomy, and general surgery. Dr. Bauldrick-Hernandez is an active member of several medical societies, including the American Society of Transplant Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.


Dr. Bauldrick-Hernandez graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a BS in Chemistry. Dr. Bauldrick-Hernandez received her MD degree from the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Science Campus. She completed her general surgery residency training at the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Science Campus, and completed her fellowship in Multi-Organ Transplantation and Hepatobiliary Surgery at NYP/Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
