He is Board Certified in Neurology with a subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine. Dr. Starkman is an Active Member of American Academy of Neurology, American Academy of Pain Medicine, International Spine Intervention Society, and American Society of Neuroimaging. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Starkman was trained at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Medical Center and has been practicing Neurology and Pain Medicine since 1996.
