About Hannah Chung, MD
Dr. Chung is a radiologist specializing in Vascular & Interventional Radiology. She is an Attending Interventional Radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine.Dr. Chung graduated from Harvard College, earned her M.D. at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 2013, and completed a diagnostic radiology residency at UCLA Medical Center in 2018 and a fellowship in Vascular & Interventional Radiology at Stanford Hospital in 2019.Dr. Chung has a strong interest in interventional oncology (including microwave ablation and cryoablation, Y90 radioembolization, and chemoembolization), cardiopulmonary interventions, and procedures to treat acute and chronic occlusions of the venous system. She has presented her clinical research at national and international conferences and has performed genomics research published in Cell.Her passion is to deliver the highest standard of care to patients via a multidisciplinary approach, with the aim of bringing the latest technology and medical knowledge to bear. She is also passionate about developing resident and fellow education in the field of interventional radiology.
