Irena Distasi, AuD

Dr. DiStasi has practiced audiology in New York City for over 20 years. Prior to starting the position of Senior Audiologist at NYP Hospital CUMC, she worked at Queens Hospital, Elmhurst Hospital and Long Island College Hospital.

Dr. DiStasi specializes in early detection of hearing loss and audiological assessment in children with special needs. Her areas of interest include pediatric audiology, electrophysiological diagnosis of auditory disfunction, pediatric amplification, osseointegrated implantable devices. She works with other professionals for a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment of hearing loss in the pediatric population.
