About Jay M. Neugarten, MD, DDS
Dr. Neugarten graduated class valedictorian and is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon from the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. He completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Neugarten earned his medical degree at Stony Brook School of Medicine. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Neugarten practices the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery including Orthognathic and reconstructive jaw surgery, implant surgery, bone-grafting and soft tissue reconstruction of the jaws, cleft lip/palate surgery, temporomandibular joint reconstructive surgery and dentoalveolar surgery. His area of special interests is the multidisciplinary approach for patients requiring complex implant and bone grafting reconstruction as well as treatment/management of patients with skeletal facial deformities utilizing corrective jaw surgery. Dr. Neugarten’s attention to detail and philosophy of providing optimal, quality care with the least amount of invasive surgery has earned him trust from patients and confidence from referring doctors.
