About Jeffrey A Ascherman, MD
Dr. Ascherman is Site Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery and a Professor of Surgery at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He obtained his B.A. degree from Harvard University, and his M.D. from Columbia University's Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He then completed his general and plastic surgery training at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. In addition, he completed a craniofacial fellowship in Paris.
With more than two decades of experience, Dr. Jeffrey Ascherman, Site Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery, is a highly regarded plastic and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in procedures that enhance appearance while preserving function and balance. He has been listed annually for the past 15 years in both New York Magazine's Best Doctors and Castle Connolly's America's Top Doctors.
