About Jennifer Kenny, NP

Jennifer Kenny, NP-P, is an ANCC board certified nurse practitioner of psychiatry licensed in the state of New York. She completed clinical training in psychiatry at Zucker Hillside, NYU and Bellevue Hospital. Additionally, Ms. Kenny completed specialized clinical training in the Department of Perinatal Psychiatry at Zucker Hillside Hospital of Northwell Health, providing medication management services for preconception, pregnant and postpartum women.

Prior to her work in mental health Ms. Kenny worked as a congenital cardiovascular critical care nurse and was part of a pediatric emergency response team. In her role on the Women's Mental Health @Ob/Gyn team Ms. Kenny provides individual and group psychotherapy and psychopharmacological interventions for patients. She provides care that integrates knowledge of biology with psychodynamic, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy approaches to support individual mind and body health. Ms. Kenny has a special interest in working with patients coping with infertility, and medical complications during the perinatal period including, high risk pregnancy, fetal diagnosis, congenital anomalies, neonatal critical illness, perinatal grief and loss.
