Jimmy N. Avari, M.D.

Jimmy N Avari, M.D., is currently an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Assistant Attending Psychiatrist in the Department of Psychiatry at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Behavioral Health Center. Dr. Avari is the Training Director of the Weill Cornell Medicine Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship Program and the Associate Residency Training Director of the Adult Psychiatry Residency.

Dr. Avari completed his psychiatry residency at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he was selected as Chief Resident. He then completed his Geriatric Psychiatry fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
