Dr. Joseph Jurcic is a Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center and the Director of the Hematologic Malignancies Section within the Division of Hematology/Oncology. He specializes in Medical Oncology and focuses on leukemia, myelodysplastic syndromes, and myeloproliferative disorders. Based in New York, NY, Dr. Jurcic is affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He received his M.D. from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and completed his training at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He is board-certified in both Medical Oncology and Hematology.Dr. Jurcic's clinical expertise includes the treatment of acute and chronic leukemias, myeloproliferative neoplasms, and myelodysplastic syndromes.
