About Julie C Choi, MD
Dr. Julie Choi is a board-certified radiation oncologist at New York-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital and an assistant professor of radiation oncology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She sees patients at New York-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital in Bronxville NY. Her clinical focus is on breast cancer, gynecologic cancers, CNS and radiosurgery. Her research interests focus on community needs and metastatic breast cancer. Dr. Choi grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and received her B.A. and M.D. degrees from the University of Missouri Kansas City Medical School. She became board certified in Internal Medicine before completing her radiation oncology training at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University Medical Center Campus, where she served as Chief Resident. She then served as an attending at New York Presbyterian Hospital /Columbia University Medical Center for 5 years before transferring to a community setting. She has been practicing for the past 15 years in the Westchester community dedicated to prioritizing quality patient care in her community. She sees patients at the New York Presbyterian Westchester Hospital, where she is an active member of the Breast Disease Management Team, the Commission on Cancer and the Clinical Research Committee which helps bring national cooperative group studies to NYP Westchester Hospital. She provides a full spectrum of precision radiation therapy techniques to deliver patients the most advanced treatments available. She is a member of numerous organizations and has been recognized annually in the Westchester Magazine Top Doctors since 2016 and selected as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor by her peers annually since 2014. She most recently has been the recipient of The Academy of Community and Public Service Award representing the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons for Columbia University, class of 2023.
