Dr. Julie V. Schaffer obtained summa cum laude undergraduate and cum laude medical degrees from Yale University. She remained at Yale for her Pediatric Internship and Dermatology Residency, serving as Dermatology Chief Resident, and then completed a Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship at New York University (NYU) School of Medicine. Dr. Schaffer was subsequently the Director of Pediatric Dermatology and Director of Dermatology Resident Education at NYU from 2005-2015.
