About Karen McKearney, DNP, CPNP, PMHS, BCB
Karen McKearney, DNP, CPNP, PMHS, BCB is a pediatric nurse practitioner in the Division of Child Neurology. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany with a B.S. in Human Biology, holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Columbia University, as well as a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Chatham University. Karen is board certified as a pediatric nurse practitioner, pediatric primary health care mental health specialist, and biofeedback provider. Her clinical practice is comprised of collaborative care for neurological conditions with a focus on implementing lifestyle interventions and other effective evidence-based treatments at the Columbia/NYP Child Neurology Clinic. Karen's research interests include the application of biofeedback and neurofeedback in children and adolescents.
