About Kasey B Jackman, PhD, MPhil, MS, BS, BA, PMHNP-BC
Kasey B Jackman, PhD, RN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner who specializes in treating children, adolescents, and young adults. Jackman uses a holistic approach which includes diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions, psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and prescribing medications. Jackman has a broad range of experience in various practice settings including outpatient clinics and inpatient hospitals.
Jackman earned a PhD from Columbia University School of Nursing and is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the Columbia University School of Nursing and the Director of Academic-Practice Partnerships, which includes overseeing a research fellowship program for clinical nurses in the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital system. Jackman is jointly appointed as a Nurse Researcher at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and consults and collaborates on nursing research in the hospital setting. Jackman is a faculty member of the Program for the Study of LGBT Health, a partnership between the Columbia School of Nursing, the New York State Psychiatric Institute and Columbia Psychiatry.
