Dr. Laothamatas is a transplant pulmonologist at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Her clinical and research interests focus on improving outcomes in lung transplantation through clinical research, clinical trials, and quality improvement initiatives. She is also Co-Director of the Telomere Biology Disorders Program, which provides specialized, multidisciplinary care for patients with telomere biology disorders, an increasingly recognized condition among patients with interstitial lung disease (ILD).
