Growing up in Karachi, Pakistan, I was immersed in a diverse and vibrant community, which instilled in me a deep appreciation for culture and a desire to make a difference. After completing my primary and secondary education, I realized that my true passion lay in medicine, and I pursued this path by enrolling at Dow Medical College.

After obtaining my medical degree, I moved to the United States to pursue a residency in pediatrics. During my training at Maimonides Medical Center, I discovered a strong interest in quality improvement and patient safety.
