About Lan Mo, MD
Lan Mo, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and Assistant Attending Physician at the New York-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital.Dr. Lan Mo received her medical degree from Luzhou Medical College and a Ph.D. at Chongqing Medical University in China. After the completion of her residency at Richmond University Medical Center at New York Medical College, she was accepted into a three-year fellowship program in Hematology/Oncology at NYU Langone Medical Center. After completing her fellowship, she was recruited to a faculty position at the Division of Hematology & Oncology proving Oncology/Hematology services at the New York-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital.Dr. Mo’s research focuses on bladder cancer tumorigenesis. She has 12 publications in peer reviewed journals, including eight first-authored articles in journals that include Journal of Clinical Investigation, Oncogene and Cancer Research. Dr. Mo wrote a book chapter-gastric cancer in 2014.
