About Lauren Antler, M.D.

Dr. Antler graduated from Brown University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in history. After college, she joined Teach for America, and taught elementary school in the Mississippi Delta for two years. In addition to her teaching experience in Mississippi, she also taught kindergarten at a public charter school in Brooklyn for several years. Dr. Antler's commitment to bettering the lives of children and families led her to pursue a career in medicine. She went on to receive her M.D. from NYU School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in adult psychiatry at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital / Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Antler's passion for working with children, adolescents and families led her to pursue a fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital's combined program of Columbia and Cornell Universities, where she served as one of the chief residents during her final year of fellowship training.

Dr. Antler welcomes new patients into her practice. She is available for diagnostic consultations, medication management, and psychotherapy with children, teenagers, adults and their families.
