About Lawrence Andy Mumm, MD
Lawrence "Andy" Mumm, MD, is a palliative care physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Westchester. Dr. Mumm has a primary clinical and educational interest in patient communication around serious illness and in patient involvement in healthcare decision making for goal-concordant care. Prior to joining NewYork-Presbyterian, Dr. Mumm served as a palliative care physician and faculty member in the Duke University Health System in Durham, North Carolina. After graduating from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, Dr. Mumm served his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at Duke University Medical Center. He is board certified in internal medicine, and hospice and palliative medicine. Dr. Mumm is the proud husband of a woman leader in healthcare and a proud father of three children.
