Luca Milone, MD, PhD, FACS

Dr. Milone earned his medical degree from the University of Genoa, one of the oldest Medical Schools in Italy, where he also completed a general surgery residency and a PhD in New Technology and Experimental Applications in Minimally Invasive Surgery. He subsequently pursued advanced research at Columbia University Medical Center and Weill Cornell Medicine, contributing to pioneering work in the endoscopic management of obesity and the development of Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery (NOTES).
