Dr. Brizzio received his medical degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, Facultad de Ciencias Médicas, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He completed his general surgery residency at Complejo Medico Churruca-Visca, Buenos Aires, Argentina; his residency in cardiac and vascular surgery at the Instituto Sacre-Coeur, Buenos Aires, Argentina; and his clinical fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, in Cleveland, Ohio.
