About Marie A Brunelli, MD
Marie Brunelli, M.D. M.S. is Chief of Adolescent Medicine at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist and Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine. She is board certified in pediatrics and adolescent medicine. After receiving a Bachelor of Science and Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering at NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering, Dr. Brunelli received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Saint George's University in 2014. She completed a residency in Pediatrics at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in 2017 followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2020. In addition to her adolescent practice, Dr. Brunelli teaches pediatric residents and medical students in both the outpatient and inpatient settings. Her clinical experience includes various areas such as adolescent primary care, sexual and reproductive health including contraceptive care, screening and addressing sexually transmitted infections, gynecological issues like menstrual disorders and polycystic ovary syndrome, management of eating disorders, routine sports examination, mental health support, and LGBTQ health.
