About Matthew McCarty, M.D.

Dr. Matthew McCarty is the assistant director for Quality Assurance and an assistant professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine in the Department of Emergency Medicine. He is also an assistant attending physician at NewYork Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center and NYP-Lower Manhattan Hospital.


He earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. Dr. McCarty subsequently completed his residency training at NYU/Bellevue Departments of Emergency Medicine.


Dr. McCarty has been named a Future Leader in the High Value Practice Academic Alliance.
