Melanie Benes, MD

Dr. Melanie Beneš is a board-certified psychiatrist and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She received her doctorate of medicine from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and completed psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai Morningside West where she served as chief resident. She then went on to complete a fellowship in consultation-liaison psychiatry at NYU. She additionally holds a master's degree in global mental health from the University of Glasgow.
