Dr. Toprak received his M.D. at Istanbul University Cerrahpasa School of Medicine in Turkey. He completed residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Staten Island University Hospital Northwell Health in Staten Island, New York. He then completed a Gastrointestinal and Liver Fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York. Dr. Toprak joins us at Brooklyn Methodist as a general surgical pathologist specializing in frozen sections.
