Dr. Silva is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and an attending physician in the Division Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Silva completed her undergraduate studies in nursing at Georgetown University. She then obtained her medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine. She trained in Internal Medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL and worked as a hospitalist at Northwestern before pursuing a fellowship in Palliative Medicine at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Upon completing her fellowship training, she joined the Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine in 2014.
