About Ola Kvist, MD, PHD
Dr. Ola Kvist is a radiologist with subspecialty certification in pediatric radiology. He is an assistant professor of radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. As a pediatric radiologist, Dr. Kvist works with pediatricians and pediatric specialists to provide family centered diagnostic imaging services at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital.
Dr. Kvist trained in medicine and radiology at the University of Gothenburg in Gothenburg, Sweden. He completed a Pediatric Radiology Fellowship at Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm, Sweden, followed by a PhD at Karolinska Institute. He led the pediatric radiology department at Karolinska University Hospital from 2020 to 2024. Dr. Kvist's research interests are focused on applying novel imaging approaches to bone and growth plate imaging.
