Dr. Sideras is experienced in all aspects of neuroimaging with a clinical focus on non-vascular neuro-interventional procedures, including image-guided blood patches and biopsies. Specifically, he has expertise and interest in CT-guided blood patches for treatment of spontaneous intracranial hypotension, CT spine and sacral biopsies, percutaneous kyphoplasty, and head and neck biopsies. He also focuses on advanced tumor imaging utilizing perfusion parameters with spectroscopy and vascular non-invasive imaging.
After receiving his medical degree from Semmelweis University in Budapest/Hungary, Dr. Sideras subsequently pursued his PhD doctorate thesis at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens/Greece. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, followed by a diagnostic radiology residency at Robert Wood Johnson/Rutgers University at Newark Beth Israel Hospital in NJ.
