About Rachel Helm, M.D.
Dr. Rachel Helm is an assistant professor of pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine and an attending pediatrician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital. Dr. Helm is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Helm received a B.A. in Religious Studies, a B.S. in Biomedical Science, and a Master of Science in Health Sciences at the University of South Florida. She went on to receive her medical degree at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, after which she completed her internship and residency at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx, NY. She spent the next several years working as a Pediatric Intensive Care Hospitalist at both the Children's Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx, NY, and Johns Hopkins Children's Center in Baltimore, MD.
