Rateb Fouad, M.D.

Dr. Rateb Fouad is a Hospitalist and Instructor in Medicine, currently enrolled in specialized training in Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.  He earned his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Bahrain. Following graduation, Dr. Fouad joined the Canadian Red Cross, where he served as a Public Health Lead in the province of Ontario during the COVID-19 pandemic. He led response efforts to contain and mitigate outbreaks across vulnerable and Indigenous communities. His team's work received national recognition, garnering additional support and resources to expand their reach and impact.
