Ray Dong

Dr. Ray Dong is a board-certified gastroenterologist at NYP, specializing in preventive care and general digestive health. He earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, completed his residency at the University of Southern California, and his gastroenterology fellowship at Mount Sinai Health System’s West and Morningside Hospitals.

He provides expert care for conditions such as GERD, acid reflux, fatty liver disease, motility disorders, and inflammatory bowel disease. Dr. Dong also performs colonoscopies and upper endoscopies, emphasizing prevention, early detection, and advanced polyp removal.

Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, Dr. Dong is committed to compassionate, patient-centered care, tailoring treatment plans to each individual while promoting health education and wellness.
