About Rebekah Joy Mennies, Ph.D.

Dr. Mennies earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology at the University of Pittsburgh and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Temple University. In graduate school, she received research and clinical training in assessment and empirically supported interventions for children and adolescents. She completed clinical practicum at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the Child and Adolescent Anxiety Disorders Clinic (CAADC) of Temple University. She then completed her clinical internship training in child psychology at Duke University. Following her internship year, she spent two years as a postdoctoral fellow at Weill Cornell Medical College in the Pediatric OCD, Anxiety, and Tic Disorders program. She has trained in multiple settings spanning partial hospitalization, intensive treatment models within outpatient clinics, and traditional outpatient care. Currently, Dr. Mennies is an Assistant Professor of Psychology in Clinical Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Assistant Attending Psychologist at New York Presbyterian Hospital. In addition to her clinical work, she produces research in the areas of OCD, anxiety, and other internalizing disorders.
