About Robert Pyo, MD
Dr. Robert T. Pyo is the Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. He earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago, and completed his residency in medicine at Elmhurst Hospital, NY. After completing fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Mount Sinai Hospital, NY, he has continued his clinical practice in New York. Prior to joining Methodist Hospital, he served as the Director of Interventional Cardiology at Stony Brook University Hospital.
Dr. Pyo has expertise in coronary and peripheral arterial interventions, as well as noninvasive percutaneous procedures to treat valvular heart disease. He is dedicated to providing innovative, top-tier patient care and has served as the principal investigator in clinical trials focused on advancing medical care.
