About Roberto Lo Gullo, MD
Dr. Roberto Lo Gullo is a board-certified radiologist specializing in breast imaging. He is an assistant professor of radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and an attending radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Lo Gullo is experienced in all types of breast imaging and breast cancer diagnosis, including mammography, ultrasound, and MRI, as well as image-guided interventional procedures such as stereotactic breast biopsy, ultrasound-guided biopsy, MR-guided biopsy, and radioactive seed placement and wire localizations.
Dr. Lo Gullo's research focus is on artificial intelligence and machine learning for personalized breast cancer screening. He received his medical degree from the University of Messina in Italy and completed his diagnostic radiology residency training at the University of Milano. He completed a breast/body imaging fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
